It is time
« on: August 28, 2010, 07:25:56 AM »
It is time once again.
Get some pencils
Where have you been?
Get those books
Don't want stencils
Hello to the cooks.

Vacation is over
Playground duck and cover
Still the sun is hot
But soon it will not
Got History in a bad time slot
New girl there looks hot

What is that on my plate?
The cook said it was pizza
Oh no, now I'm late
Class over, huzzah!
Icky stomach, something I ate?
Algebra is last
Hope it's over fast...

When the children are heading off to school (school started for them this week) ... I'm reminded of how school seemed to be for me so verrrrry long ago, in a land far, far, far away ...  (or so it seems).

In Canada, school doesn't start till after Labour Day in September.

I'm on vacation in Edmonton right now actually.  I just arrived at my uncle's place from Yellowstone yesterday.

I won't be in school until this winter, circumstances pending. ;)
