Actualy, I looked at NewEgg this morning, and was surprised to see AGP 4X cards are still available, so I might spring for a $40 card.  I was really thinking the whole machine needed to be replaced except for the case.  So I'm looking at a Gigabyte GeForce 6200, what do you think?  Is that enough to run SoH?  Is there anything else I should be concerned about?  ie, memory, processor speed?

Well, my integrated card is a 6150 SE, only slightly worse than that card. As far as I know, it has all the same shaders and features as my current card, just a lot slower and with integrated memory. So it should run it, though you might get terrible FPS. Then again, people have reported terrible FPS no matter what card they use, so no real loss there.

Maybe if I get bored today I'll pull out my video card and see if my onboard can run it

Matt is correct.  That 6200 should run Hazeron, but it will be fairly slow.

Maybe (for a little more money) a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 3650 would be a better choice?  Faster clock, double the memory, Directx 10, and Open GL 2.0.  I have never used a Radeon card before so I don't know how that compares to Nvidea.

Ehhhh... I've heard an awful lot of complaints about ATI cards on the Hazeron forums. I'd stick with Nvidia.

That Radeon 3650 will be fine, and much better than that old 6200. 

Matt, the ATI cards people are having trouble with are the 1000 series and integrated chipsets.  Any of the newer ATI cards work perfectly, as long as you have recent drivers.

I'm running Hazeron at home on my media box (a Radeon 4350 which is actually a bit slower than that 3650) and my game box (a Radeon 4870x2), as well as at work on a Radeon 5750.  These cards run Hazeron pretty well.

Well I just got another bill I wasn't expecting so it won't be till next month at best, hopefully they don't toss all the AGP cards by then.

Today I was sailing to a continent near the South Pole, I had started an outpost there to mine ice. But halfway there the server went down.

Earlier today I found something interesting in the server logs...  Tied for first and second place for inbound traffic from a link on another website to this site, The DescentBB (no surprise) but also (somewhat surprising) a link from  this thread at bay12 forums.
