Mine is a WIP screenshot of AGox-fal tse'erm, level 18 of my D2X-XL mission.  The name of the level actually does mean something (it's an anagram).

If anyone figures it out, I will be highly impressed.

Well, technically, I used said pic as a desktop first, and THEN sent it in as a POTD.

I haven't changed my desktop pic recently either, guess I should look into it, then.

It happens that I changed my Win7 desktop background at work just this morning ...

EDIT:  I decided to include a snapshot of one of the systems on my laptop... (for those that care, it's the non-Windows OS I've been happiest with the most (thus far) on that system.  This last week at work I've played around with Mandriva (Gnome, KDE), OpenSUSE (KDE, Gnome), Fedora (Gnome, KDE), Mint 8 and 9, Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu .... Been interesting comparing them side-by-side.
