School spirit day costume
« on: November 06, 2009, 07:53:57 PM »
One of my awesome friends lent me their dad's old Air Force flight suit for monday for "dress like what you want to be when you grow up." It didn't come with any patches, so what? Should I find some AF patches on Google Images? Heck no! Slap PTMC patches on there with the name tag being MD1032! Now I get to really show off Descent to my friends!

I'll take pictures some time over the weekend to show you how it looks.

You know, I work at a thrift store, and I see lots of those AF uniforms come through, and have on occasion thought about doing the same thing. Guess you beat me to it. :P Oh well, guess I'll see how well it works, then. :)

There ya go!

My salute was solid, except for the hand tilt. It needed to be tilted down just a little.

* NUMBERZero snaps his fingers.

I know what I can do! I can swap the PTMC to the other sholder (cuz that's where the US flag usually goes) and put the Rzgriz squadron insignia on the left (cuz that's where the squadron insignia usually goes)! I'll have to wake up early tomorrow. I'll try to get a picture of just the suit with the new combo, but no promises. I can upload the Razgriz insignia tomorrow.

EDIT: Ok, I got a lucky break. The nation's flag IS ON THE LEFT so I don't have to swap em. I got the Razgriz patch on it now, I will post the picture of the flight suit with it later today. I can show the insignia now, though.

I don't recall ever seeing the Material Defender's feet, so this could be regulation.  :-\

I don't think our astronauts wear shoes in zero-G either.  ;)

It was at 9:15 at night and there was no reason to be wearing shoes in the middle of the night.

The day at school! Got a few people calling be Material Defender which was awesome!

But I got a few interested a while back when I was telling them of my YouTube channel.

Actually, you get a brief glimpse of them in the D3 intro movie. His boots are actually pretty cool neon green things. :P
