I'm guessing the left one is the extra life and second is a shield upgrade? quite nice detail overall.

I'm curious as to what the energy blobs (for lack of a better term) will look like...or if they even feature. Theoretically, it being a prequel and all, I can see justification in omitting them in favor of something else, but I guess we'll see.

Still, great to see the shield orbs in this. I had been starting to fear they weren't going to have them at all.

you could be right. sadly, I haven't played in a long time. Miss it so much. I thought I had a rebirth or something on Linux, but something happened to it.
