-Level 8
-Past the part where you destroy the big suck-u-down fan. The room straight ahead is exactly similar to the one you find after you go down the cooling towers, through the door closest to the floor, take a right, and then boom same room. The only difference is that this one has those pipes blowing fire down into a tunnel.
-There is a vauss cannon located outside and behind the hanger opening when you drop the elevator and release the medical frigate. It is impossible to collect it because exiting the building ends the level.

Yeah, i thought it was level eight, but I couldn't figure out where exactly...

The yellow/white spot in the middle gives it away.  That's a jet of fire from the pipe shooting straight at the tunnel you're in.  Without that fire, it would be an almost identical place earlier in the level.  You have to explore past the docking bay in order to get to the place in this pic.

I did not know about the Vauss outside the exit.  Never been out there (without the level ending).

I saw a Tailbot pick a fight with a Flame Gyro in that level.
It was the last fight Old Tail-y picked .  He will (not) be missed.

From my perspective as a writer the most interesting thing about that level is how it's ice themed and fire themed at the same time.  Very cool how Outrage pulled that off.

or that level 8 could freeze you, and 9 could burn you. game wise, you can't freeze in 8, but you can burn in 9. I'm talking more in terms of real life.

I kept thinking that was level 17 though, like at the beginning of the game.

There is no level seventeen in D3 Vanguard, unless you count the second secret level (which the warp level cheat considers the seventeenth).

of course I count level 17 silly. It is a level. At the beginning, it looks like long long tall very tall ceilings.
been a while since I played it though. May easily see 17 and say to myself "what was I thinking?!?  "

Level 17 in D3 comes after level 12 but before level 13 -- but only if you unlock it right.

If it doesn't make sense there's nothing to worry about -- it's not supposed to.
If it does make sense then you should be scared.
