By the way, and don't get me wrong, I really don't want to spoil the fun. ;)

Has anyone got a clue from where one could get the missions "C5" and "Insompipe"?

This was - in case no one else has noticed - the reason why I started this thread. ;)

As previously mentioned, those levels are in the mission packs that were distributed for the MinerWars competition.  The links are in the middle of the thread about it.

...the other booted me as soon as I tried to join.

I'm assuming you're referring to the "C5" level.  The 'boot' is happening because of poor level design - there's a spawnpoint outside the level shell, which gets players kicked by AntiCheat.

Foil, the only two files I can find in these threads are:
http://www.minerwars.com/ForumUploads/20100510051708_266_Descent3MWMapAssortme.zip
and
http://www.minerwars.com/ForumUploads/20100510080806_266_MWMapPackExtended.zip

Both do not cointain the mentioned levels.

Have I overlooked something?

Everyone who downloads that mission file hasn't got the corrected download links in their version of the file.
Yes I suppose this is true. But as long as they don't host it it's fine.

The levels are not hosted anymore now.

I still wonder where they can be obtained from...

This is all so strange.

Anyway, if these levels were of any significance, they'd be downloadable easily, but they are not.

Sorry, in case I wasted anyone's time with this in vain.

For which game? I might be able to dig them up from my archives.

D3.

I'm wondering, though if they weren't made, or altered, for the MinerWars thing.
