Title: One of my favorite actors, Peter Falk, passes away at 83

One of the my favorite actors, Peter Falk (most known as "Columbo") as passed away last night in his home.
I have all of the Columbo seasons and love him as an actor, and love those shows as well.
When my girl friend played "The Princess Bride", I immediately looked at the grandfather and said, "That's Peter Falk. It has to be, from Columbo."

I knew the day would come. It will for everyone. Still sad. He will be missed.
Rest in Peace, Peter Falk.

He's always been one of my favorites, too.  :'(

What a shame.  :-\

I always liked Peter Falk as an actor, and loved his character Columbo.
This makes me feel sad.  :'(

it's making me sad too. always seemed like a nice decent guy, and someone you could get along with well.

I'd hate to be at the funeral. He'll probably sit up from his coffin and say "Errr, just, just one more thing sir! ... one more thing!".

But wasn't he one of those actors who was supposed to be easy to get along with and not a prima donna?
I always liked Columbo.

I don't remember seeing any of his shows, but I recognized his photo. It looks like he lived his dream the way he wanted and hopefully we all will too.

Peter Falk is a bit before my time, the only role I really know him best for playing is his role in The Princess Bride, as already mentioned, but it looks like he lived a good long life. My condolences for the loss.   :(

Well, he's really before my time too but when my University screwed up its applications and made me wait a year, I ended up programming a hell of a lot and watching a good amount of daytime TV (and by that virtue, Columbo).

Colombo was great. Bett, can't believe you never saw anything with him in it, you just never noticed or remembered.

still kind of sad knowing he passed away. I know he is in at least one Twilight Zone episode, and I should probably see that some day, if I own that episode that is.
