This car uses a post WW1 airplane engine with 46 litres displacement, 750 HP and 10.000 (ten thousand!) NM torque!
It is has been renovated by the technical museum in Sinsheim, Germany and is fully operable again. A crazy English guy drove 200 km/h with this car - that's when the guy reached his limit, the car was still far off its own. :D

/me imagines what the people at Top Gear (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_Gear_%282002_TV_series%29) would do if they got a hold of that car... :P
-
If Top Gear let Jeremy Clarkson behind the wheel ... he'd crash it (of course) and then call it "absolute rubbish" but of course Richard Hammond would love it.
Mmmm. Chain drive plus carbon flavored hotdogs. ;D
Actually, I'm pretty impressed with it. Good find, Karx.

James May would probably tool along in first gear, complaining about the ride quality.
I just want to see the Stig take around the track.

That's not really much horsepower, tbh. That's a crapload of torque though. I bet you could destroy some tires in that thing :o
Put it this way... I can spin my tires with about 1/50th of that.

I'm quite impressed with the acceleration ability of my little junker Pontiac Grand Prix, with 220 lb/ft of torque.
/me goes shopping for WWI plan engines. :P

It looks .sdrawkcab

This post got my a bit intrigued, so I did some googling... Check this out:

All I can say is... I wish my car did that. Or sounded like that.
