Consider a purchase from the Planet Descent Store (http://www.zazzle.com/planetdescent?rf=238081790265958843)
A portion of the proceeds goes to supporting this site, so you get an awesome Planet Descent branded item to show your support and make a contribution to a good cause at the same time. And let me know what you think of what's up there and if there is anything you'd like to see... There are only 4 items at this time, but I'll be adding more as I have time. Suggestions and graphics contributions are also welcome.
And if you want to purchase anything from Zazzle, use the link above and Plane Descent gets a commission from your sale, even stuff that is not in the Planet Descent Store.

Actually more than four as the mug comes in different forms, here is a travel mug. I need a new one anyway, this is cool:
-
sweet! I would buy a PD.net t-shirt but I'm still low on budget.
-
I have one question, to whom who knows. That stainless steel mug, does that have a coaster glued on the bottom? I have a Volvo stainless steel mug with a coaster on the bottom. I love the mug. Stainless steel, wide opening for cleaning and ice, and a coaster on the bottom, the best (thumbs up)
-
Sorry, I don't know. They do come with a money back guarantee, though.
-
So, seeing I made said logo, does that mean I get part of the proceeds?
Just kidding, go ahead and do what you want with it. :P
-
Thank you! I don't expect to actually make a profit from this, but it would be nice to cover server costs. If there is anything beyond that, perhaps it could go to buying prizes for a contest of some kind, or whatever everyone wants to do. With the economy the way it is, money has been tight.
-
Well, I'd buy a t-shirt if I could justify the spending of money. :)
-
you should make a mouse/joy stick designed pacifically for playing descent with and put planet descent's logo on it. p.s I'll buy a mouse pad
-
Ha... making a joystick would be a whole different endeavor, quite different from arranging a logo on a mouse-pad or hat. ;)
You would need to sell thousands just for the tooling costs. :o
-
a mouse pad? a pad for a mouse? lol. I know what you mean.
That mug looks tempting, but I am shy on cash right now, holidays, and having a week off with no pay :(
I'd buy it if it had a coaster, but if not, then, I don't know. It's just a little piece of foam on the bottom.
-
I'm thinking of the shirt. The mug looks great, but I wouldn't use it just cuz I'm a guy that doesn't use mugs. Hell, I'm not even awake during breakfast to even know if I am drinking anything or not.
-
Well, there is always the beer stien or frosted mug if you are not into coffee.

There is a hat too.
-
I'd totally buy that mousepad if I actually used a mousepad.
-
not a coffee drinker, but I do use that stainless steel mug for just about everything else. It's my one sole cup, and I love it.
-
I hate coffee, but I'd use the mug for hot chocolate or (more likely) tea. I drink a lot of tea in the winter :D.
I wouldn't get much use out of the mousepad: I use an M:TG playmat for my mouse to eliminate the limited turning by mouse range problem in Descent and other games (it's about 4-6 times the size of a regular mousepad), so I don't think I could get used to something that small and it would ironically make playing Descent much harder than what I'm used to.

since it's 2011 and you have 20.11% off, why don't we keep that theme and say the deal is good until 20.11 (20th of November) ;D
I may buy the mug, but no paycheck this week :(, and it may take a couple/few weeks to even get sort of caught up again.
-
I'd love to, but I have no control over that. It is something Zazzle did.
-
it's all cool :) just thought I'd point that out, be a smart guy, ;D
-
today is the day. I got my federal and starte refund. I am off to buy an iMac! I haven't had a good working PC since Oct. Why am I telling you this in this post?
Because I may very well also purchase that stainless steel mug! maybe a tshirt also, but hard to say yet. don't want to spend too much money.
