A song I wrote to test out the new GMS synth and Effector effect that come with FL Studio 11.  The only synths I used were GMS and DX10 although I sampled from a OPL3 soundfont for a sweep pad sound that I couldn't quite get right in DX10.  Well, and I used drum samples of course.

The lyrics are based on the ideas behind the lyrics for a famous song from another game, and me seeing how those ideas would change if I fit them to a game in another genre.  If you know the song where the ideas came from, it'll probably be obvious by the first line of the second verse which song it is.
