This was a song written for the Retrovirus Songwriting Competition in case it became a real thing.  It did not become a real thing.  Like Live On this was recorded before I bought my new mic.

It takes place in the Retrovirus universe, lightly satirizing the idea of sapient software, and takes the point of view of an "observer" program that gets infected by the worm.  Though he's cured by the player, he pines for the freedom from "slavery" (which is a horrible pun) that the worm's infection gave him and falls in love with the virus.  The rest of the song has him stalking the worm, following it around the system as his love drives him more and more hammily insane.
