I Heard The Bells of Warning

I Heard The Bells of Warning
(to the tune of "I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day", traditional version.  Apologies to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and any who might be offended.  This is only for fun.)

I heard the bells of warning play
Some Enemy Homers on their way
My shields they intend to beat
For long shall live, the P.T.M.C.

I thought how, as the day had come,
Throughout all C.E.D.-dom
They were doing it all wrong
Thus long shall live, the P.T.M.C.

And in despair I bowed my head:
"How can good men survive," I said,
"Virus is strong, death rings the gong
For long shall live, the P.T.M.C."

Then pealed the warnings loud and deep:
"Dravis isn't dead and fooled C.E.D.;
You must hurry, dodge to the left,
Or long shall live, the P.T.M.C."

Then running, fighting, on my way,
We battled from night to day,
A bomb, a blast, explosion sublime,
No more shall live, the P.T.M.C.!
