Sometimes, when in battle, it is best to admit defeat and make a hasty retreat. One can always return for another go at it, but it may just be the monster you face here is too strong and there simply is no match.

I may just leave it out of the album. I already have a Game22 MIDI remix in the album.
I like to think I have a Descent taste of music.

Yeah, I'm doing a mash-up remix album for every single D1/D2 Redbook/MIDI track. It's complete, except for the "Time For the Big Guns" remix, which is TOO HARD! lol

I'm assigning the remixes to certain D2 levels in D2X-XL as well. I use the MIDI remixes for D1, and the Redbook remixes for D2. 58 songs in all. (Would have been 59.)
I like to think I have a Descent taste of music.

I have flirted with trying the D1 remixes in D2 levels.  Time For the Big Guns fits D2 level 18 pretty nicely.  I can't remember what I had for everything else though.  It was years ago.

But when I mod the D2 soundtrack, I generally like to use music from me and from other games -- there's a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog music that's similar to the D2 Redbook.

Did you know that a midi version of one of the songs you've "referenced" in your song titles was used in the third and seventh levels of a classic D2 mission by Darkflamewolf?  I'll let you find it :D.

I wouldn't know... the only level set I've downloaded by DFW was Vignettes, and I know she contributed to the TEW, but that's not exclusively her's. Besides, even though I played Vignettes, and currently am on Level 14 on TEW, I do not have any custom music tracks for either... so I'm completely clueless on those.

Gasp?  You're not using the "Good" soundtrack for TEW?  Which is made to work "out of the box" for D2X-XL too?

But no, it's not either of those missions.  One of her oldest ones, from before Lost Levels.

About Roaches Crawl: it sounds pretty good, although I have to admit that Crawl is NOT one of my favorite Descent songs.

BTW, I was looking through some of the other tracks you've posted before now, and I think your mix of D1's level 7 song is still your best. :)

So which song was it that was used in one of her level sets?

Maybe I'm just weird, but I like most of the descent music too much on its own to mess with it.

Not weird at all. IMO
