Mouse sensitivity on Descent (D1x-rebirth)
«

I updated Descent 1 with the latest D1x-rebirth. The mouse works better. It however doesn't want to stop spinning the ship.
Turning the deadzone to min or max, or anywhere inbetween doesn't change anything.
This is Descent 1 (from good old games website)
latest version of d1x-rebirth
Mac OSX
mouse is a logitec marble mouse (ball is on top)

Disable flight-sim mode on the mouse.
Flight-sim mode means the ship will turn faster the farther you turn the mouse, but you need to center the mouse in the deadzone for it to stop. Basically it treats the mouse movement like a joystick.

that may work. I know I have it enabled because I'm thinking "flight-sim" is reversing the Y-axis. It is Y right? up is down, down is up.

Flight sim (Y-Axis): Pull towards you is up. Push away is down. <--More sense

I don't know why Zico decided to call it flight-sim instead of something like "Emulate a joystick".
You can invert any axis control from wherever you set it.

I've always thought it was called "Invert Mouse"
(I'm too used to standard FPS games
)

or invert y-axis, like on the pS3, being i am not using a mouse, but yes, "invert" would be the word indeed.
