Didn't say they weren't there, just that the cast is still very predominately female. Odds are pretty good that when ever a new character is introduced, it'll be female.

At least, that's the pattern I've seen up to episode nineteen, which is as far as I've gotten thus far.

Unicorns would be able to harness magic, to what degree varying on the individual and their skills. This is made pretty clear in the show.

Why is it that everyone thinks a unicorn has to be associated with magic?  I'd kind of like to see a unicorn that shoots missiles from the horn on it's head.   You know, just point and shoot.
