Can't really say I care for the series, if anything. Nothing special, in my eyes.

yeah, it's a modern tv show. People on the internet take a (possibly obsessive?) interest to it and it weirds others out sometimes.

The show actually is pretty creative though, with a good cast of characters (despite being predominately female) and good voice acting, so I think some of the attention it's gotten is deserved. Granted, some of the obsessiveness of it all is a bit much.

...having said that, I don't suppose anybody is going to believe me now if I said that I haven't watched the show...because I obviously have.

I could really care less about the series. I just don't get how many people have fallen in love with it, it's a girls' show for goodness sake.  Just my opinion.

But hey, here I am pretending I'm some furry fox thing, and I'm sure there's lots of people who find that weird. Oh well.

If there's one thing I've learned about the world, it's that everybody needs at least one thing to obsess over needlessly. We only really start to notice when several start obsessing over the same thing.

I don't think you guys get it... It's supposed to be a trolling thing, it's not that they actually like the show. Because my little pony is so horribly irrelevant to most gaming forums (EVE for example). EVE also had a... slightly different variant one night that I can't go into here that proved without a doubt that the mods were indeed asleep.

it's not a trolling thing. i like ponies. in fact i'mma post my new desktop wallpaper in the wallpaper thread now.

heh, it's easy to assume this, and probably what some want to assume, but in general, it isn't true. "bronies" often are actually very interested/obsessed with the show and, sometimes, they get a bit "noisy" about it, heh.

while the stuff at the EVE online forum could possibly be trolling, it must be stated that the interest in general is actually present.

I think I'm tempted to look this TV show up to find out what the appeal is, lol.

You're not pretending - everyone has a kinda alter-ego / image of themselves that they aspire to.
And furries are awesome, well, some of them.
