I kind of agree with what you said, most actually. The only difference, for 5 years, (mandriva)Linux was my sole operating system. but, I don't do a lot on computers.

opensuse was nice in one way, but I had trouble getting some things going that ran nice on Mandriva.
PCLinuxOS may be another nice one, but my netcard died shortly after being on there.
