@Pumo... I looked it up and it says wood... seems about right since we're born the same year. Element changes the next time the year of the rat comes in 12 years:

Years of the Rat and their Elements:
1924 Wood
1984 Wood
1996 Fire
2008 Earth
2020 Metal
2032 Water
2044 Wood
2056 Fire
2068 Earth
2080 Metal
2092 Water
2104 Wood

So, I guess to see your element three times in your life is to have lived 120 years! The oldest person ever was a lady from France who lived to be 122, so she surpassed it!

I happen to be from "the year of the cat" which was prominently referred to in a song by Al Stewart.  While some thing Al was referring to the year that I was born in, others think he was actually referring to the year before his song was released (that year was also a "year of the cat").

I've looked this up before, but as I couldn't remember it off hand, I looked up mine as well. Turns out I'm "Yin" Earth with the animal of snake. Consequently right after Shroudeye. :P
