Teh Randomness™ - Part Deux
« on: December 17, 2010, 09:49:14 PM »
Note: Idea for this game taken from a thread on the old PD.com... way back. Linky

Teh Randomness™ Game!  :D  Here's how it works:

First you post a phrase or an object.

Example: Jane saw Spot run.

The next person has to post a response that completely counters the first one.

Example: Jane is blind, can't see Spot.

And then someone would have to counter that phrase and so forth.

The rules are simple.
- 1, you can be as funny and crazy as you can be, and you can drag in almost any subject if you wish.
- 2, you can't use a phrase the exact same way twice.
- 3, Do not bring religion into it, because it could cause disagreements and possible flame wars.
- 4, if you're really stumped on a response, you can take the object or item or person in question into the "next dimension" and stand them there. You can only do that once.

If there aren't any questions, let's begin.

The sun is shining on you.

It's nighttime right now, the only sunlight shining on you or me is reflecting off the moon.  Also, we're probably all inside.

It's an eclipse, no sunlight is reflecting off the moon. We're actually outside, you just can't see it.

Which would be true, if we weren't at the bottom of the Mariana Trench were no sun shines ever, inside Captian Nemo's Nautilus, fighting a giant squid:

The giant squid wasn't ever actually a giant squid but instead a rather large and quite undefeated behemoth. Also, the ship is beached right now.

However the behemoth is afraid of water, and the ship is actually in dry dock.

But the Behemoth (or Behemyth, or Byhemoth) has used his custom Magnum-AHT to push the ship into the water, punctured its hull with his vauss, and left it sinking, with no hope of escape for any of its passengers!

But the toy boat was big enough that mice were able to steal it and use it as a real boat... all these disastrous occurences have actually been happening to hyper-intelligent extraterrestrial mouse-people.

(Ya... trust me to make up something like this... or rather, trust Douglas Adams :D).

Was it called... The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

But that was not your grandfather telling it to you, that was Douglas Adams.
