Looked like the work of a spam-bot, based on the page you linked. Did he ever post anything that would indicate otherwise? Like XGMX posted a lot of crap, but it was clear he was human. Of a sort, anyway...  ;)

I thought so too, until he actually re-joined as Pershing123, started a fairly nonchalant post but kinda used that as a segue into more conspiracy theory through conversation, leading to a lock and a ban. It became clear that he just really thought that fans of a random video game shared his love for conspiracy theory.

The character of xgmx (or admiralxgmx) is now rather famed... I imagine that's what he aimed for. If so, another name would be a bit useless; I'll bet it's someone else trying to imitate him (just what we need). I also imagine that since we are indeed a Descent forum, he'll show up here sometime. Unfortunately.  ;)
