Mine is Jackie Chan, hands down. I mean come on! He's da man, and he has great movies, and plus he's a star of his own cartoon show that I saw when I was a Middleschooler. (I'm surprised that nobody mentioned Jackie Chan)

I've always like Sean Connery (but I forgot to add him to my list of favorite movie actors.

Qui Gon Jinn's actor and Nicolas Cage always ruin the "world" of the story for me because I can always recognize them.

Stephen Colbert was awesome as the president in Monsters vs Aliens.

But mostly I don't admire actors, I admire the characters.

And as Female actress I like Emma Thompson a lot!

Mmm! I would like to add the guy who played Spock in the new Star Trek movie. We call him Sylar because he played the bad guy Sylar in the TV show Heroes.

And yes, I admire the characters the most.

As for me, Anthony Hopkins is a great actor, as is Morgan Freedom. I also respect Siquorney Weaver too.
For new bloods, I personally like Nathon Fillon of Firefly/Serentiy fame.

Most of my really, really favorite actors ... are dead.  :'(

However, as I review the movies in our collections ... I see people like Harrison Ford and Richard Dean Anderson coming up repeatedly (among the "still living" actors).

Liam Neeson, Michael Douglas, Tommy Lee Jones, Keanu Reeves (i hear he'll be in the live action Cowboy Bebop movie o.O), Harrison Ford, Will Smith, and I would write Matt Damon if I could picture him as anyone other than Jason Bourne...

now for actors i hate, let's just put down everyone who played Anakin Skywalker. And add some hateage for George Lucas for writing such a crappy character too.

I notice that a lot of people have been looking down on George Lucas a lot lately.

As for me, I've been thinking about it ever since this thread started, but I just never really thought about who would be my favorite actor, so I guess I don't have one. They're all good in their own right, I suppose.
