Topic: Does anyone visit the front page?

Just curious, whether people have visited the front page, or not, and how often.

You mean the page you get when you simply go to http://www.planetdescent.net ?   and is that same place if you click the "Home" button next to the "Forum" button?

That's where I start at whenever I come here.

I start there on way to the forum.

I like the new map. I'm the dot from Harrisburg. I'm actually located about 48 miles (77 km) East, Southeast from Harrisburg.

Yea, but i dont understand the globe, it dosnt work, i dont see dots.

Yea. It turns, and animates. But no red dots anywhere.

hmmm... ok, do you wath it thru the whole time period, ie, the indicator at the bottom goes from one end to the other...


What browser are you using? Can you grab the globe and spin it? (just a stab in the dark, here, I really have no idea why it's not working for you.)

Ok, I just viewed it in IE tester, as IE7... the red dots are hard to see!

Do you see the green lines shooting out from the globe? the red dots are supposed to be at the ends of the green shoots, as if the red dots shot out and the green lines are the trails. In IE 7, they are off by a few pixels. If you see a green line, pause the animation before the green line disappears.

If you mouse over the red dot, the City, Country and time appear.

Well, I'm at a loss, unless perhaps you browser is set to block something... or maybe using an outdated version of Javascript...

I didn't see any red dots either ... until I realized I could zoom in.

The red dots will be seen on the nifty "firework rocket" (whatever you want to call it) that shoots up from the hit locations.  I only saw the red dots after I zoomed in quite a bit.

I'm using FireFox and IE8 ... works in both.

Scyphi and I are the sprites/shoot from about Idaho area.

You can also pause the time line and move it forward or back with the slider. If you click on the dot the city of origin is displayed. Yesterday I was being identified as Harrisburg. To day it's Lancaster, which is much closer to me. Odd.

I assume Gooding is in Idaho?
