Just leave it outside on a hot summer day, then grab some friends and go flying that afternoon!  ;D
I, for one, hope this is much, much more than a reconnaissance mission.

I don't think it needs to charge prior to flight, as long as you're flying in the daylight.

Probably not with today's technology. Or else I am sure they would have. But like anything else, it's a start.
