Hehe, no, NZ.

When you start a city on a planet, you are 'seeding' that planet with the DNA of the character you're using.  Thus the citizens of that city will match that character.  :P

So... careful which character you're using when you start a city.

[Edit: Matthew, that would be awesome!]
I just dropped Wormaus a message o get a subdomain up, and I'll install phpbb3 tonight. Should have working forums by morning.

Well.......THAT sucks! I have to get rid of the city. You remember when you said that the old MN0001 would disappear in 3 days? It's been there for a week.

Be aware that the planet is now 'seeded' with that DNA.  If you start another city on that same planet, it will have those creatures for citizens.

You remember when you said that the old MN0001 would disappear in 3 days? It's been there for a week.

That's odd.  Are there any citizens on it, or have players visited it? (That could prevent the decay process.)

P.S. You guys should also know that very large cities (1K-2K+) can cause extra lag, as each citizen's work process adds to the server load.

You might consider reducing some cities' population.

Thank you for answering all of my questions Foil! Your answers are always helping!

I'm packing up to move to a new system.  >:(

Yeaaaaahhh I think we have a lot of population in our cities, right Matt? :P

No one has visited nor does it have any buildings or roads. It's just one flag. Same thing with Tycho Brahe.

Is there a way to increase the damage of the weapons on fighters? I'm thinking of making a fighter carrier for loads of fighters, but they just don't do any damage to Lv 3 armor unless it is a crit hit (which ends up doing 2 damage anyway).

Build TL2 or TL3 fighters.

EDIT: And besides, neither do ship turrets :P

NICE!

Cmon guys, we really could use your help, especially during these times. Give it a good 2 days and NEVER stop asking questions. Some can be answered in the game's manuel, but no matter who is online, who is friend or foe, who is dev and not dev, we will answer your questions.

Hear, hear.

For anyone who wants to join now... no building necessary.  PTMC now has space ships, stations, fighters, etc.  And we're developing more all the time.

Plus, we may try to organize a coordinated raid of a neighboring empire sometime soon.  :)

Seriously, this IS a good time to try it, if you want.

Contact one of us PTMC guys, and we'll get you in a ship with a crew right away.  [RIP]Rooster and I took a couple of guys out for a cruise around the galaxy last night... good stuff!
