Miner Wars pilot competition
« on: April 30, 2010, 07:52:17 AM »
Hi guys!
We will be inviting all the pilots for a rundown on their skills. There will be 24 winners and these winners will get a chance to be the very first test pilots for Miner Wars. Battles will then be held in Miner Wars and we will tweak the game according the liking of some of the Aces.
Check this thread and give us some ideas as to how to manage this event.

I didn't see an .exe either, but I would assume one will be posted eventually, unless it will be an upgrade to the non-interactive demo already released.

Will a .zip pass your firewall?

Hm, thanks for trying to help, but i'd rather not turn this into a "Lets help darc with his firewall" thread.

Its just been discussed too much and i'd rather not discuss it once more.  ;)

EDIT: Oh yes, and the .EXE, the minerwars website said the benchmarking demo would be updated when needed. So i thought that would be what i need to join the competition.

Ok... Perhaps you could get it on a cd? It would still have to connect to update, would that pass your firewall?

I'm totally in.

Sorry for being silent the past couple of days... Finals week. 'Nuff said. It all ends Wednesday though.  ;)
I, for one, hope this is much, much more than a reconnaissance mission.
