You have to look at the players' names, we were all "in character".  I'm "The Snow Fox"

(The funny part is at the bottom half of the picture)

As an occasional trackmania player m'self, I get it, it's just that it's not really all that funny.  :-\

I think it's a case of "you had to be there" for it to be humorous.
I, for one, hope this is much, much more than a reconnaissance mission.

You should try it online.  And if you're just playing stadium (i.e. Nations) you don't know what you're missing.

No, I have United Forever via GameTap's service...which I should probably get back to at some point, as I was slowly (and sometimes angrily) slogging my way through the harder medal challenges lat time I picked it up.  I don't know that I'd be all that interested in the multiplayer side of things, since I'm not much of a multiplayer gamer in general.
