Are there any audio alerts like messages from the beagle or 'intruder alerts' ? If not, that means the scripts for mac/linux were not included in the level. There isn't anyone around anymore that can compile those scripts unfortunately.

What's needed to compile them?

You need the level source files to start with, if they weren't included in the mn3 it'll be hard to do anything... as for compiling , hmm...you would best be using a really old distro. I've tried to compile scripts for my last level but ended up giving up as I couldn't get past the problem of endless deprecated functions. And while I could find old images for early 2000s distros, had zero luck installing them in a VM.
