We should start a pool as to how long after they allow end users to MOD Miner Wars we will see the first Pyro GX in game.

How dou you prove that you are a Descent vet?
Its a good idea but I dont see how we could manage that.
On modding and stuff. Game will be fully moddable. We are aiming for that heavily. All our modifiers in the game are constants so its not a problem. The code itself is perfectly clean.
But come on guys we need help even now
. come and help us on our site!
We need
3D modellers 3x
Texture artists 2x
Coders 2x
thx

Make sure it's released in Canada (preferably at the same time as in the US) and gets into some shops in Winnipeg. Otherwise I won't be able to play (I don't have the means to shop online).

Oh BTW, they sent 30 emails to the top 30 fans. Those emails contained a link to a beta flythrough of the game. Here's that list of who recieved it.
This is the list of all the users that have been invited. I put an * next to who I know are Material Defenders that we have all heard of (unless you live under a rock
)
The Beta has an auto updater. They say that everyone will be able to download it in about 5 days. I'm just guessing. They said in 7 days a few days ago.
In case somebody did not receive the invitation you might still have been invited. Please check your spam folder.

I would have loved to be in that list, but ive not been following this game due to my computer's horrible graphics card. (9 FPS FTW!)
I probably wouldnt even be able to play it due to the awesomeness of graphics.
Someday.. Someday, ill buy a new computer..

It was a non-interactive demo. Like a D3 demo file. It ran flawlessly at 1024 X 768, a little less than smooth at 1600 X 1200.
ASUS P5W DH Deluxe
Pentium D, 960, 3.6Ghz.
2Gigs Corsair Dominator (2X 1gig sticks)
XFX GeForce 7600GT Fatal1ty, 256Mb DDR3 650MHZ core.
ViewSonic 19"
I am running the video at 1200X1600, and the cpu at 3.96ghz.
