Does anymone know if there's a complete walkthrough somewhere for the SP mission Mission At The Saturn Part 1?

No, but I found my way through.

The question came into my mind because I thougth it might be a good idea to provide one.

Did you take any videos of that mission?

No, no walkthroughs for it that I know of.   However, if I had the time I could make a walkthrough (having done it a few times.

Also, there are actually two versions of it.  "Mission to Saturn" and "Saturn Station - Titan Project".  The "Saturn Station - Titan Project being the second/newer version of it.

Either way, it is the first of seven (I think it is) levels that take place in sequence (though seperately) and are all together sometimes referred to as the "Wind Mine" set, though "Wind Mine" is the third of the levels.   Excellent set, by the way.

I'll post more about it as soon as I can.

TechPro, I'm afraid we're not talking about the same mission.  :D

That's right.

In my opinion one of the nicest missions for Descent 3, apart from the long cinematics and that it crashes in co-op - but I think we discussed this already. :)

Everything's so detailed and realistic.

Yes we did, heavily :)
We know it, COOP is part of the game, sure.
But MAS Part I and the following parts are NOT designed for coop.
In our opinion the Material Defender is 'alone in the dark'. Absolutely!
Or did you ever saw Dravis talking to more than one of them, or did more than one Matdefender answer him? :)

He did in the books. And MD1032? where's the other 1031?

I never saw, in any of the Games D1 -D3, that there are instructions given to more than one MD, did you?

And for the 103x. Let's say they died one by one. Or.., you'll know.. space is big/huge, so they may fly in 1032 different directions to different mines at the same time?
All matter of taste/ sight.
For our mission we saw it like I wrote above. We made it Singleplayer only.

The MD flew with another pilot in the books by Peter Telep, but that is not from the game.

BTW, here's what your game in coop looks like!  :D

He did in the books.

Books != game.

(for the non-coders, that means that the Book isn't the game. They may share story elements but the book is a separate universe outside of Parallax/outrage's control)

Oop!  Right you are.  My mistake.  :-[

Not sure what I was thinking there, other than obviously thinking about something else.

Yeah, MAS is also good (as single player).   I could work at doing up a walkthrough on that too, but I'll leave that up to Atan or Dark since they were involved in it's creation and at least Atan is active here. (Atan, you guys did a great job with that one, btw)
