What did you get for Christmas?

$150 From Grandparents
$40 Walmart Giftcard From Granny.  :P
$80 Fry's Electronics Giftcard From Mom and Dad. (Woot!)

Nobody except my parents knows what i like, so i get my gifts in money form.  :)

Uh, gee, I...didn't really keep tabs on what I got and I didn't get...too caught in the moment, I guess...and now that I've put it all away, I swear I'm going to be forgetting a few things...

But let's see...

-Ice and snow grip thingies that you can put over your shoes, I guess so you can turn every pair you wear into snow shoes. I'll have to try them out on my Sunday shoes, seeing that I walk to church...
-Two Hankerchiefs that my younger sister helped my mom to make, reportedly...
-Various clothing articles, like socks, underwear...
-Battery powered alarm clock
-Bike lock for a used bike I obtained 'bout a month ago
-Various candy
-"Rakkety Tam", a book.
-"The Dimwit's Dictionary", a dictionary that lists out overused terms when writing, and should prove useful for my own writing.
-A Star Trek Original Series communicator key chain that actually chirps when you open it, among other things. Added it to my collection of Star Trek memorabilia.
-An electric razor, as I figured shaving with that would be faster and more convenient than with a regular razor.
-And a few other more practical items that my parents have given me, looking out for my future as they always are. :)
-Also want to mention that while this gift went to the whole family and not just me, we also got a few movies, including "Star Trek".  8) Which I've already watched. Again. :P

I think that's everything. If not, I probably covered it in one of those generalizations in that list. :P

Got them a Wii, ay?  Nice.  Our 11-year old saved his paper route money and bought his own Wii a couple weeks ago.  Now nobody asks me why we don't have one.  ;)

I actually did quite well this year, especially if I include what I was given at work.

- 5 bags (12.6 oz) of M&Ms (variety of Dark or Milk Chocolate, Peanut and regular)
- 2 M&Ms dispensers (M&M Military Vehicle (example link), Nutcracker (2009 Limited Edition, lousy pic example link)
- Hickory Farms Beef Summer Sausage  (add some Sweet Hot Mustard)
- New socks
- New pajamas (custom made by the loving wife)
- SanDisk Sansa Clip 1gb MP3 player (Link to an example)
- DueNorth Everyday Traction Aids (Link to an example)
- Dark Chocolate Orange
- A Star Trek (STOS) keychain communicator (small, on a keychain) just like Scyphi's
- A leather bound copy of "Jesus The Christ" (info link, in depth study of the life of Christ)
- HP Color LaserJet CP2025n printer (info link, this a gift from work  8))

The Family got a couple games, a couple movies ("Star Trek" which Scyphi already mentioned, and also Disney/Pixar's "Up"), some orange sticks, and some chocolate covered mints.

And an extra Wii mote

And they each got a game for DS, too. And some Lego kits, too.

And my 11 year old just got his first job. (sorta) Walking a dog 3 times a day, half hour each time.

Agreed on Metroid, that's one of their favorites on the DS. Not sure which version of metroid they have.

The only versions for Metroid for the DS would be the highly not acclaimed Metroid Prime Pinball and Metroid Prime Hunters. I love Hunters!
