Happy New Year!
« on: January 02, 2024, 10:49:18 AM »
A little late, but happy new year everyone!

I don't buy into having New Year resolutions, but I'm working on some, such as more financially stable, and do better/more things with the family and not have other things get in the way.

Also a belated happy new year to all.  ;D

My new year resolutions are more like taking stock of my life goals and determining if any have a chance of getting accomplished this year or not. And even if they don't, I can generally still keep working towards them during the course of the year. Basically, all kept unrefined enough that it gives me some wiggle room should things end up not going as planned for whatever reason and not make me stress out about it.

Good way to handle it. Can't just give up. People aren't perfect and a few slip ups or whatever shouldn't stop your goals.

I'm working on stuff I need to do to prepare for 5 years from now.

Yes, that's a bit specific.  I have my reasons.
