Testing self-lock feature

According to my other topics, I am apparently able to lock topics I have created. Testing now:
It works.
Have I been given some form of self-moderation power, or is this a normal feature for all users?

The permissions page is huge, and must be set for each member group. I know Commander set an increasing level of permissions for each post count based group, see
"A little info..."
so it may have been an oversight, or it may have been intentional. Well, why not let members lock their own topic? If someone abuses the privilege, it could be changed easy enough.

It could be useful at times...
Edit: I just took a look at the settings, and any registered user can lock their own topic.
