Overload Release Date Announced!

From the Overload team this morning:

"The good news is that Overload will launch on PC (Windows, Mac, Linux) on May 31 on Steam and GOG.com with full multiplayer support.

The not-so-good news: We are sorry to say that the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions are being delayed by a couple more months."

It seems cross-platform multiplayer support is the reason for the delay of the console versions. However, as the Descent community is primarily a PC-gaming community (no offense to you Descent: Maximum fans  ;)), I'm sure there will be a great many Descent fans very excited that the fully-featured version will drop in little over a month. Personally, I'm already clearing my calendar.  :D

Excellent. I'll be spending the hot sticky summer playing this.  I'll record my first playthrough, too ;D
