Just testing to see what my forum profile looks like at a glance. Thought it would be appropriate to post it only here. I'm kind of new to forums. If anyone reads this, do you prefer pancakes or waffles?

Pancakes, either American or British style. The British ones are very thin and crisp, very tasty when done right.

Not a fan of syrup, prefer lemon on mine.

Usually I'd say either, but lately I've started experimenting with raspberry pancakes and they're amazing.

Pancakes, but there's gotta be something in said pancakes, like blueberries, or chocolate chips, etc. Plain buttermilk is for the unimaginative.

I must say, I'm impressed with the amount of pancake responses here. I'm a die hard fan of pancakes too (with chocolate chips and real NH maple syrup--extra diabeetus there), but up until now, it seems like everybody prefers waffles. Good to know there's an oasis in the desert.

Per Scyphi's comment, can we just stop and appreciate for one moment the enduring marketability of the brand name "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter?"

Maybe Overload should have taken that approach, just to spite Interplay. "I Can't Believe It's Not Descent!"

Yeah I remember the ads from when I was a kid. I normally tuned out boring commercials, but the "I can't believe it's not butter!" ad stood out, mainly because of the obvious name. Funny thing is, last year's Halloween, I took advantage of my long hair and dressed up as Fabio (when you're a guy with long hair pretty much everybody calls you Fabio), and I walked around with a container of "I can't believe it's not butter!". I thought it was funny, but some of the younger people had NO idea.
