Just got back from seeing Warcraft the movie. It was awesome, go see it.

I hope it's more exciting than the MMORPG, I've never figured out what people saw in that.

Good to hear... I just rolled my eyes when I saw the first trailer, but I might just see this one when it hits a Redbox near me.

My wife and oldest son enjoyed the movie very much, having never played the game.

My youngest son and I have played the game, but lost interest some time ago.

Critics seem to hate it. But then again, aren't critics meant to hate everything that doesn't fit their picture-perfect view these days?  I just got done seeing that 'Allegiant' movie or whatever it's called. It's not exactly memorable stuff but definitely not worthy of the piss poor score it received on RT.

I don't always go by critics. See the movie, and like it or hate it.

I'm not into Warcraft at all, so I doubt I'd get into it.

Well, as I said, my wife and oldest son loved the movie, and neither one even played the game. My wife doesn't like any kind of violent game, unless you consider Candy Crush or Bejeweled violent.

It was action packed, great plot, and a story that was fairly easy to follow and understand, even for someone with no knowledge of the game lore. The special effects were great, without being over-the-top.
