This is pretty impressive!

But, I'm wondering what use it would ever be? I imagine it could eventually become a repair bot that could slide in through a tiny opening, or a spy that could carry a mic and transmitter.

This is seriously awesome.

To be honest, Big Hero 6 comes to mind reading about these, although the applications are completely different. Still, the concept of using tiny robots to perform tiny tasks by utilizing tiny magnetic fields is hugely awesome.
