Always had a lot of respect for him, and have almost always enjoyed the roles he played.  He's had a good life and we'll miss him.

Rest in peace.
Is there a Vulcan salute smiley?

Just pretend there's one here then.

I really only knew him from Columbo's "Stitch in Crime" episode.

Seemed like a fine actor/man.

I remember that episode.  Nimoy played a Doctor who had been doing some research alongside another Doctor and "bumped off" the other Doctor so that he could reap the benefits of the research.  Columbo got to the point where he knew the Nimoy character had done it but could not prove it so he setup the Nimoy character to get tricked into doing something that revealed the truth.

It was a very clever episode and it kept me thinking and wondering how it would turn out.

I think it was my fathers favorite Columbo episode. Very good one indeed.

Very sad news indeed.
His performance as Spock is what made me got into Star Trek when I was younger and what made Spock to be my favorite character of the series since ever.

RIP Leonard Nimoy.  :'(
