Not being the least bit familiar with Pokemon, I have to say no, but I'm guessing the four claws and X across the bow reminds you of a certain diamond-tipped claw character, and I want to say old scratch, but no, that ain't right.

That's what I thought when I first saw the image of Mega Metagross.  He does look sorta similar to the Advanced Lifter.  Don't worry I'm 100% of my Descent 'bot knowledge

You should of know that the fire starter for X and Y is called Fennekin which is well, a fennec fox

...We're talking about Mega Metagross in this thread right?  Overall, I think he looks awesome.
