To be fair, that was an old D2X-XL Glitch when you're far away from the enemy, the enemy fires a Salvo of shots rather than its recommended shots.

Caverns of Croix is one of my favorites, just never saw it that brightly lit before.

I played it on XL too, but it (that part) seems dark to me... :S

Ah yes, THAT level. :) I think the room in question is actually supposed to be quite brightly lit, and it's a hidden room. The player can actually miss it, I believe.

If memory serves, I only ever found it for two reasons: One, I noticed traces of an illusionary wall on the auto map that would eventually lead to it, and two, I happened to be using cheats at the time. :P
