Likewise, but still, nice find. :)

It's a Descent 1 level called "Christmas".

You can get it at http://d3fischlein.de/home.html.  Go to "Levels" then search for "Christmas".

You can also get it at Pooterman's site http://www.pooterman.com/.  Look in the Descent 1 missions for "Xmas.zip"

In years past, I've played a multi-player Descent 1 (I think it was) level where every one's Pyro's were replaced with a Santa and sleigh graphic and among the rooms was a Christmas tree, and also a house (complete with 'snow' falling ... Sort of).   I had thought I might post picks from that level, but couldn't remember it's name and couldn't find it.

It was actually a D2 level that you're thinking of Techpro. I know because A: I distinctly remember it was a D2 level, and B: D1 doesn't support the kind of mods you're talking about, at least not easily, thus you pretty much never saw D1 modified so.

Thanks for the links TechPro!

And BTW, Scyphi is actually right, the one you're talking about was a D2 level called Xmas! 2.0.

EDIT: And here it is - http://d3fischlein.de/levels/scripts/counter.php?id=3997
It is also hosted on d3fischlein.de. :)

I think it's hosted in the level spotlight section of descent2.de also.

Well, I can't remember the name of it, but I KNOW its a D2 level, so that narrows it down...kind of.

Found it!  ;)

I had been thinking of a Descent II level (yes, you were right, Scyphi) called "Deck The Halls" which you can find at http://d3fischlein.de just click of "Levels" then do a search for "Deck"

In the attached screen shot, you can see a Santa in his sleigh with reindeer ... that is what your Pyro looks like in this level.  The stockings, ornaments, small trees, and various christmas packages found around the level are powerups.   You can (among other things) go into the fireplace and up the chimney to go "outside" into the falling snow.  There are also substantial passages to roam.  I've played this (Anarchy) with small and large groups and it can be a very fun level.

Hey, that is a pretty good Christmas themed level, and very original!
I didn't knew or heard anything about this level before, and it's maybe the best one in its style!

Wish I could give credit to the author of it, but nobody knows who the author was and there isn't any info on the author at any of the places I found for downloading it.

If I could get that to run on Linux, I'd try it. Anyone open to posting a video on this?
