Maybe, but I'm actually kind of glad that didn't happen, because that means we were spared Pepsi-related adverts being plastered all over the game. Because you KNOW that's what would've happened.

Alan Wake was very obviously sponsored by the Energizer Bunny and it didn't end up so bad...
But that also fit into the games' world pretty seamlessly (technically, your self-recharging batteries will keep going and going and going... the only time you have to switch them is in combat where you need to run them down really fast and don't have time for them to recharge).

Pepsi adverts all over Descent would kind of break the immersion XD.  Gameplay immersion, not story immersion which there wasn't much of to begin with, even in D3.  Because of how the story was only presented between levels.  You only find out between levels how much your actions are hurting the PepsiTMC
