Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
« on: July 22, 2012, 05:12:04 PM »
Anyone looking forward to this most anticipated sequel to Transformers: War For Cybertron like I am?  This time each character have their own missions (e.g. Optimus Prime for Run and Gun, Cliffjumper for stealth, Jazz for grappling hook and sniping, Grimlock for melee only attacks (and he can pick up and throw objects or enemies at other enemies), and Bruticus's gameplay is mindless destruction)
(it'll be released in August 21st for XBox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC (the PC port will be from Mercenary Technology and they'll make it a more stable PC port than the PC version of WFC)

anyways here are some footage and articles:
first from IGN-

secondly, the Machinima interview-

Thirdly, Kotaku Character showcase video-

Forthly, the recent trailer-

finally, a gameplay footage of Grimlock in the game-

Metroplex heeds the call of the last Prime-

If it's anything like previous transformers games, I can live without this one.

It unlike the Bayformers games, It's a direct sequel to War for Cybertron and this and War For Cybertron are suppose to be part of the new Cartoon lore of Transformers: Prime

The gameplay is like Gears of War (being an over the shoulder, 3rd person shooter)

Well, that's promising to hear. Never been a big Transformers fan myself, but I've seen enough to know that Transformers: Prime is the best Transformers production I've ever seen.

I liked the movies well enough, but the games were horrid.
