Topic: Fixed - Can't get artwork on an album to show up on my smartphone

Hey there. I have various CD's. Some I bought from Amazon, some are Amazon MP3, some are from this site, one or two from a folder when I bought a game.
Overall, they all work, all albums work on my smartphone, except for.................yeah, Descent 3.
Descent works, Descent II works, both PC version, and imac, redbook, whatever it's called.
But not Descent 3.

using easytag on linux, shows the artwork.
using itunes on th eimac, shows the artwork.

it still refuses to show this on my smartphone.

Any ideas? tips?

So, it's not showing the album art, or not playing, or both?

Oops, sorry, wored the topic wrong. Correcting...
It was the artwork I was having issues with
I finally got it going at the last minute before I went to bed.

This is a droid 3 phone. Was using amazon mp3 to listen to music. No artwork though.
then for fun, I tried the default music app just called "music".
so then I clicked on a song, and it showed the artwork in the background. Then it showed it in music.
went back to amazon mp3, and after waiting a few seconds and then it popped up. What fun

FYI, what's going on is that some apps will look online for the album-art, and download it if it's found.  Other apps just look one the device (phone) for the album-art.

So you didn't have the album-art on your phone until you used the other app, which found and downloaded it.
