Topic: Classical music VS country music. Do you enjoy both?

I like country, most rock (especially like 70-80s hard rock, AC/DC, Aerosmith, that kinda stuff) and absolutely detest rap, hip hop, any of that kind of stuff.

I tried searching the internet to see if there are any surveys on this. Either I'm poor in the "search for this" department, or there just isn't any real surveys done on this.

Well, I'm pretty eclectic in regards to my musical tastes, so for sure I can say I don't dislike Country, but definitely I love Classical music WAAAAY more than Country music, specially those of the Baroque era (J.S. Bach, Handel, Telemann, D. Buxtehude, Vivaldi, etc.).

Of course, maybe as I'm not from USA, I can't identify myself that much with Country music, although there are pretty nice pieces that I like a lot (like 'Baby Hold On' from the Dixie Chicks).

But in fact my favorite genres are Electronic Dance music like Trance, Electro-House, (Above & Beyond, Deadmau5, Inna, Kaskade,  Michael Cassette), Baroque, as I stated before, and New Age (Andreas Vollenweider, Enya, Vangelis, Mike Oldfield). 

I also like a lot some Ethnic and Folk music, like those from the Middle-east, India, China, Japan, Andinan, Celtic, etc.

I think part of it is, I like to think about things, and when I hear words, it only gets in the way. Plus, I love the instruments in music.
